Cultivating Good Habits

Whether good or bad, habits are the building blocks of our lives.  They are the small daily actions that shape who we are and what we do. Because they create positive momentum in our lives and help us achieve our goals, cultivating good habits has been proven to be one of the most effective ways to improve our overall health and success.

Studies have shown that mindful living in the form of developing certain habits can improve our lives with:

🌟 Improved mental health 
🌟 Increased productivity
🌟 Better relationships
🌟 Greater career success
🌟 A more fulfilling life

Cultivating good habits takes time and effort, but the benefits are definitely well worth it. Often we think it is motivating to attempt large sweeping changes with new intense habits.

The trick is to avoid these large habits since they are easy to start because they are new an interesting but they are difficult to maintain.  More often large changes get put to the side as soon as old habits become easier to fall back on when life gets stressful or busy. 

By incorporating small changes into our daily routines, we can create longer term habits and ultimately a happier, healthier, and more successful lives for ourselves.
